Evolution Launches the World’s First Live Online Craps Game
Revolutionary iGaming software company Evolution has just announced the groundbreaking release of the world’s first live dealer craps game. The management boasts that this title offers players all the excitement and advantages of playing at a traditional brick and mortar casino.
To make things easier for beginners, Evolution has included an Easy Mode and an interactive online tutorial to help players adjust to this new gaming experience. Additionally, they plan to launch a Random Number Generator version of craps in the near future.
According to Todd Haushalter, Chief Product Officer at Evolution, “Players and casinos have been requesting a live craps game for years now, so it was time for us to make it happen. With the addition of craps, we now offer every game that you would expect to find at a physical casino.”
“Developing this game and capturing the unique excitement of playing craps in an online setting was no easy feat. However, our team has done an exceptional job and we are thrilled with the end result. Live craps will also help us expand our reach into new markets outside of Europe as we aim to attract players from all over the world,” Haushalter added.
What is Initial Reception Like?
While it is still too early to determine how well this release will be received by players, Evolution has left no stone unturned in their efforts to provide a realistic and immersive gaming experience. For example, the game uses a mechanized arm to throw the dice, just like in a physical casino, ensuring fair odds for all players. This also eliminates any potential blame on the dealer if things don’t go as planned, much to their relief.
Proposed Merger with NetEnt
In addition to this groundbreaking release, Evolution is also set to acquire NetEnt for approximately $2.1 Billion. This merger comes at an opportune time as both companies are performing exceptionally well in their respective target markets. In the third quarter of 2020 alone, Evolution generated over 140 million Euros in revenue while NetEnt‘s profits increased by 58% compared to the same period last year.
Evolution has recently launched five live tables in Pennsylvania and Kaunas, Lithuania where they have opened a new medium-sized studio. They have also seen success with games like Crazy Time and Instant Roulette and are confident that live craps will continue this streak.
On the other hand, NetEnt has been focused on expanding its presence in the United States through various partnerships with operators such as William Hill US, BetMGM, DraftKings, Scientific Games, and Tipico.
